How We Review

Trustvize exists to help people make better-informed decisions. That only works if our recommendations are genuinely independent. Here’s how we approach that.

Independence from affiliate relationships

Trustvize is supported in part by affiliate commissions, described in our Affiliate Disclosure. Whether something has an affiliate program available does not determine whether we recommend it, how positively we write about it, or how it ranks against alternatives. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favorable review.

How we form our assessments

Our evaluations draw on publicly available information such as manufacturer or provider specifications, published pricing and terms, expert and user feedback, and, where practical, hands-on use. We clearly note within an article when a recommendation is based on hands-on use versus research from available information, rather than implying a level of first-hand testing that didn’t happen.

Comparisons and rankings

When we compare options or rank a list of choices, we aim to weigh the factors that matter most for the decision at hand — such as price, features, reputation, and suitability for different needs — and to explain our reasoning rather than presenting a ranking without context.

Keeping content current

Products, pricing, and terms change. We aim to revisit and update our content over time, and we welcome reader feedback when something looks out of date. See our Corrections Policy for how to flag an issue.

Our broader editorial standards

This page describes our approach to evaluating products and services specifically. For our broader editorial principles, see our Editorial Policy.
