Affiliate Disclosure

Trustvize is an independent consumer research and review publication. This page explains, in plain language, how we make money and how that relates to what we publish.

We may earn a commission from some links

Some links on Trustvize are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase or complete a qualifying action, we may earn a commission from the retailer, service provider, or affiliate network involved. This is one of the ways Trustvize supports the cost of researching and publishing our content.

It does not cost you anything extra

Any commission we may earn comes out of the seller’s or provider’s marketing budget, not your pocket. Using an affiliate link does not increase the price you pay, and in some cases a link may make you eligible for a promotion or discount you might not otherwise have found.

Affiliate relationships do not decide our verdicts

Whether a product or service has an affiliate program has no bearing on whether we recommend it, how favorably we write about it, or where it ranks against alternatives. We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review, and we do not let the presence or size of a potential commission influence our editorial judgment. If something isn’t good, we say so — commission or not.

We aim to be clear about it

Where an article contains affiliate links, we disclose that directly in the article, in addition to this page. Outbound links to affiliate offers are also marked so that search engines and browsers understand them as sponsored, consistent with the disclosure guidance set out by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.

Our editorial standards

For more on how we approach research and evaluation independently of any affiliate relationship, see our How We Review and Editorial Policy pages.
